The Smart Center of Baitursynuly University has announced the results of the AI SOLUTIONS Hackathon, a competition designed to foster creativity and provide students with hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence.
Over the course of just 24 hours, twelve teams transformed their initial ideas—typically developed over several weeks—into fully functioning AI-powered bots, demonstrating both innovation and technical skill.
The hackathon took place as part of AI Week and was held in partnership with Astana Hub’s Qostanai branch (Qostanai Hub), a key strategic collaborator in promoting digital innovation in the region.

“By creating functional bots in such a short time, you have proven that you are capable of much more. This is the level of a graduation project! I encourage you to take part in similar initiatives more often,” noted Kalybek Maulenov, Head of the Department of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence at Baitursynuly University.
The university provided the prize fund to support and encourage the next generation of talented developers, further strengthening its commitment to innovation and digital education.
