Representatives of Baitursynuly University held a series of career guidance meetings with high school students from the Auliekol district.
The main goal of the visit was to introduce students to the opportunities offered by the university and help them make an informed career choice.
The university team split into two groups: one conducted a meeting at the Auliekol District House of Culture, and the other — at Secondary School No. 1 in the village of Kushmurun.
The events took place in an interactive format that included contests, quizzes, a mini-concert, and gifts.
The students were enthusiastic participants — they sang, danced, and received branded prizes from Baitursynuly University (KRU)!
In his welcoming speech, Nurlykhan Temirbekov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work, noted:
“We came here with one goal — to help you make a conscious choice. I’m sure that among you are our future first-year students. KRU is always open to those who want to grow, learn, and be leaders of their time.”
University faculty members spoke about academic programs and employment prospects for future graduates.
Asemgul Sebepova, an active student of KRU and Chair of the Youth Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, told the students that the university has 10 student clubs and organizations, where young people can develop in science, sports, volunteering, and creativity.
The meetings were also beneficial for school teachers, many of whom expressed interest in applying for graduate programs at KRU. They immediately received all the necessary information on admission.
We were delighted with the high school students of the Auliekol district — they were positive, creative, and curious.
These meetings marked the first stage of KRU’s major career guidance tour.
Applicants of 2025 — we’re coming to meet you!
