High school students from Kostanay schools visited the Media School at Baitursynuly University.
The students spent a day at the Department of Journalism and Communication Management of Kostanay Regional University, where each of them had a chance to immerse themselves in the profession of journalism.
They learned about the department, its study programs, and the career paths available to graduates. Faculty members explained the professional opportunities in the field, while university students shared their experience of combining studies with work in the media.
And the most exciting part:
By the end of the day, some students admitted they had discovered their calling — journalism.
The Media School was organized by Senior Lecturer Gulshat Markabayeva, with assistance from doctoral student Zhanay-Kerim Sadvokassova as part of her teaching practice.
