Previously, proctoring was used exclusively for computer-based testing. The new system makes it possible to monitor in-person examinations using intelligent analytics, enhancing the objectivity of assessment, transparency of examination procedures, and the overall quality of the educational process. AI technologies are used to monitor the entire examination process, including exam preparation as well as oral and written examinations.
The system has been deployed across five university buildings. More than 10 state-of-the-art cameras and hardware systems have been installed in designated examination rooms, enabling the system to promptly detect and record potential violations.
“We have taken another important step in developing our university’s digital learning environment by introducing the Q-Vision Offline Proctoring intelligent system,” said Elmira Nauryzbayeva, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at KRU. “The system provides extensive opportunities for conducting interim assessments and final examinations. We are particularly proud that our university has become the first in Kazakhstan to integrate this type of camera-based technology into the educational process.”
The innovative IT solution was developed by a Kazakhstani company participating in the Astana Hub ecosystem.
