Rahim OSHAKBAYEV, a well-known Kazakh economist and blogger, visited the Baitursynuly University Smart Center as part of his visit to the Kostanay INVEST-2024 investment forum.
After visiting the laboratories of the university, the guest met with the leadership of the region and LARGE ones.
The main topic of conversation is the recently launched double degree program with the University of Minnesota Morris.
The enrollment of students began on July 22 under the program OP 6B06104 Computer science (GOP B057 "Information Technology").
-Our university has extensive experience in the field of double-degree education," explained Elmira Nauryzbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the KRU. "Every year we gain momentum. We have been negotiating with the University of Minnesota Morris for several months. We decided on a promising IT direction.
Graduates will receive two diplomas at the end of their studies - from Kostanay and American universities.
Rahim Oshakbayev noted that he was impressed by the material and technical base of the university, the wide geography of academic mobility and the opportunities that KRU provides to students:
