It is known that Sh. Murtaza made a huge contribution to the development of Kazakhstani journalism, and the art of managing newspaper production turned his name into a legend. In addition, he is the author of translations of many famous children's fairy tales, but he himself was proud of the fact that he translated all the works of Chingiz Aitmatov into the Kazakh language.
The famous journalist, former editor of the regional newspaper “Kostanay tany” Zhanuzak Ayazbek, who personally knew him, shared his memories of Sherkhan Murtaza with students.
