Based on the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Kazan) from April 13 to 29, the 2nd stage of the International Student Olympiad in Service and Tourism took place, with more than 70 students from various regions of Russia and Kazakhstan taking part. Interesting works were presented by students from Moscow, Saratov, Tula, Kazan and other leading universities in the field of tourism. However, among the foreign participants, the best results were demonstrated by students of the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, "Tourism" specialty. So, Maria Nikolenko, a 4th year student, was awarded a 1st degree diploma, Zhanely Zulpaharova - a 3rd year student with a 2nd degree diploma, and Kamilla Kamilova, a 3rd year student, received a 3rd degree diploma. Works of Madina Baiseitova were also noted by the commission.
In addition, as a result of the contest, two quotas for free education in the master's degree in "Tourism" at the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism were allocated to two students from the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, Maria Nikolenko and Aruna Ashirbekova.
