The Constitution Stands for Independence

As part of the National Plan of Events, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Baitursynuly University hosted an expert meeting today.

A delegation of experts from Astana met with students and faculty members of the university.

Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergey Udartsev, spoke about upholding the supremacy of the Constitution.

Amir Umarov, an analyst with the Constitutional Court, clarified procedures for appealing to the Court.

Meanwhile, Albina Mautova, Head of the Department for Legislative Coordination at the General Prosecutor’s Office, emphasized the role of prosecution bodies in ensuring constitutional order.

Zhaslan Baibazarov, a member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Chamber of Legal Consultants of Kostanay region “Zanger”, also spoke at the meeting. After that, participants had the opportunity to ask the experts questions and receive direct, well-informed answers.

Fun fact: Albina Mautova and Zhaslan Baibazarov are graduates of Baitursynuly University’s Faculty of Economics and Law, and they continue to make us proud!
