The Department of Criminal and Civil Law and Procedure at Baitursynuly University hosted an open session titled "Labor Contract: Problems of Theory and Practice." Senior Lecturer Natalia KORYTNIKOVA and Kostanay City Court Judge Anastasia MOROZOVA led the lecture as part of the university's cooperation memorandum with the judiciary.
To prepare, students analyzed common labor violations related to employment contracts based on labor inspection data and trade union reports. They presented a ranking of issues to guide the discussion at the start of the session.
Natalia Korytnikova conducted an interactive quiz to test students' knowledge of the Labor Code of Kazakhstan, while Anastasia Morozova provided an in-depth analysis of local judicial practices, citing specific cases.
Students actively participated, asking questions and sharing personal experiences. At the end of the session, they received informational materials on labor law application in court practices.
