Trends in Global Veterinary Science

International collaboration continues at KRU.

Dr. Ahmet Onur Girisgin, a parasitologist from Uludag University (Turkey), joined the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the Research Institute of Applied Biotechnology.

The scholar delivered a series of lectures for students on modern approaches to diagnosing and preventing parasitic diseases in animals.

He paid special attention to current trends in global veterinary parasitology and the integration of innovative research.

In meetings with master’s and PhD students, discussions focused on potential joint research projects and scientific exchange.

At the Argymak Hippodrome in Kostanay, the guest was shown the region’s equestrian sports infrastructure.
He also participated in a seminar on breeding and sports horse husbandry.

Dr. Girisgin’s visit became an important step in strengthening international scientific ties and opened new opportunities for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey in veterinary science.
