HISTORIANS TAKE 3RD PLACE IN SUBJECT OLYMPIAD

The results of the XIV Republican Student Olympiad for the educational program 6B01601-History, which took place under the auspices of the upcoming 110th anniversary of the first national newspaper "Kazakh" at the historical faculty of the Karaganda University named after academician E. Buketov, have been summed up.

17 teams from all over the country took part in the Olympiad, which consisted of five rounds, including the team of historians from the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov.

The first round was the team presentation, followed by the team presenting their project work in the second round. In the third round, team captains wrote essays, while the remaining team members completed tasks in the fourth round - taking test assignments in their discipline. As a result, the team "Tobol Oishyly" from Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov scored 125.6 points in five rounds and took the prize-winning 3rd place. Team members were awarded a 3rd-degree Diploma, and Letters of Gratitude were sent to the team leaders: Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Department of Kazakhstan's History, Rauan Baidaly, and senior lecturer, Master of History, Tolkyn Erishova.

Admission committee
