Andrea Letašiová, a scholar from Slovakia, held a series of meetings with the leadership of the Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute, as well as with students and faculty members of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Special Education.
She delivered lectures on psychology-related subjects to graduate students from the programs “Pedagogy and Psychology” and “Management and Leadership in Education”, as well as undergraduate students studying “Pedagogy and Psychology” and “Special Pedagogy.”
For the faculty of the department, Andrea Letašiová conducted professional development courses on “Psychological Aspects of Parent-Child Relationships.”
In return, students and faculty organized several excursions for the visiting scholar. Andrea visited the Regional Historical Museum, explored the “American Corner” at the L. Tolstoy Library, and attended the performance “Tansulu” at the Kostanay Regional Kazakh Drama Theater named after I. Omarov.
It should be noted that Andrea Letašiová is teaching at Baitursynuly University as part of an academic mobility program.
