SEMINAR WITH STAKEHOLDERS PARTICIPATION

At the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, a methodological seminar titled "Discussion of Educational Programs 6B02201-History, 6B03202-Archival Studies, Document Management, and Museology" was held with the participation of employers and stakeholders moderated by PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) Gulmira Sametova.

Employees of the State Archive of the Kostanay Region, deputy directors of the Kostanay Regional Local Lore Museum and the Kostanay Regional Memorial Museum named after Y. Altynsarin, directors and history teachers of city schools, PPS (Pre-Primary School) staff, and students of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities gathered around the table to discuss the details of interaction. In addition, the meeting was joined online by the head of the Turgay Museum Complex and history teachers from Uzunkol, Fedorov, and Auliekol districts.

The head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, candidate of historical sciences Serikzhan Ismailov, emphasized the relevance and necessity of such meetings, which undoubtedly enhances the quality of training for future specialists demanded in the labor market. The main speakers were senior lecturers of the department Gulmira Nurusheva and Akmaral Eralina, who presented the educational programs "6B02201-History" and "6B03202-Archival Studies, Document Management, and Museology," respectively. Opinions regarding the content of educational programs and individual disciplines were expressed by: Gulbanu Sarsekei, director of the Turgay Museum Complex; Nurgul Suleimenova, history teacher at Secondary School No. 9 named after G. Kaiyrbekov; Zhanna Abeldinova, history teacher at Auliekol School-Gymnasium named after S. Baymagambetov; Saule Moldabayeva, history teacher at the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum; and Zhanat Seitkazinov, history teacher at Lyceum No. 2.

The participants of the methodological seminar discussed issues related to the preparation of highly qualified and sought-after specialists, as well as the further strengthening of partnership between the department and employers.

The dialogue platform became a place for exchanging opinions and establishing connections between the university, school, archive, and museum. Issues regarding the further development of research competencies and the history of the native land, which are currently receiving great attention in the educational sphere, were addressed. In the concluding part of the event, the professor of the department, Doctor of Historical Sciences Aidar Aitmuhametov, thanked all the participants and summarized the methodological seminar.
