Real-Life Cases from an Expert

The final stage of offline professional development courses for faculty members delivering teacher education programs was held at Baitursynuly University.

The trainer was Saltanat Murzalinova-Yakovleva, an expert in inclusive education and social projects, a member of the Project Office of the Ombudsman for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and a member of the Municipal Commission on Juvenile Affairs of Almaty. She has extensive experience in media, education, and the social sector, and is the author and curator of programs on tutoring support and inclusive communication.

During the course, participants worked in small groups, analyzed real-life cases, modeled pedagogical situations, and discussed practical tools for working with learners with special educational needs.

An important part of the program was live experience sharing and professional dialogue. Each participant had the opportunity not only to acquire new knowledge, but also to listen to colleagues and relate their experience to their own teaching practice.

Further work will continue in various formats designed to support educators.

Personalized expert support is planned to help adapt methodologies to the specific context of individual educational institutions and learner groups.

Practical master classes and workshops will be organized. An online platform for experience exchange among program participants will provide access to methodological resources.

In addition, regular thematic expert sessions, mentoring, and project support are planned.

The meeting at Baitursynuly University became a starting point for further cooperation. Upon completion of the training program, participants agreed within a focus group to continue collaboration. Joint activities will be carried out at the Center for Inclusive Education and Psychological Support of Baitursynuly University, in cooperation with academic departments and the University Career Development Center.

This collaboration integrates resources and opportunities for promoting inclusive practices in the region, thereby strengthening the implementation of the Third Mission of Universities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
