Baitursynuly University once again welcomes international guests.

Professor Weixin Shan from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (China) arrived at Baitursynuly University to deliver lectures to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.

The university has established strong scientific and academic ties with the Chinese institution.

Professor Weixin Shan, Dean of the Faculty of Soil and Water Conservation at NWAFU, previously visited during the summer. Along with fellow researchers, he toured the university's experimental fields where trials of elite Chinese crop varieties are underway.

“Our universities have done significant joint work,” noted Baitursynuly University Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev during his meeting with the professor. “We are determined to continue. We have many exciting proposals that will allow us to train highly skilled specialists in the field of agriculture.”

The meeting participants discussed future partnership opportunities and outlined plans for the near future.
