The event, aptly titled “PRORescue,” was dedicated to World Civil Defence Day and organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports.
The aim of the competition was to assess the readiness of future teachers to provide first aid in case of accidents and emergency situations. In accordance with educational standards, teachers bear responsibility for the life and health of children, which requires essential first aid skills.
Students from all departments of the Pedagogical Institute took part in the competition, forming eight teams.

The event made an important contribution to the development of professional competencies of future teachers. It was especially encouraging to see students demonstrate a high level of preparedness, as well as teamwork and responsiveness.
