"The Nature and Cause of Social Conflicts" - this is the topic of an open practical lesson, which was conducted by Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Psychology of the Institute of Economics and Law named after P. Chuzhinov Aina Rakhmatulina for students of the specialty "Translation Studies" in the discipline "Psychology".
The purpose of the open lesson is to expand students' understanding of the main types and causes of conflicts, as well as to introduce them to various ways of resolving conflict situations.
During the lesson, educational situations were created that required active search activity of students. Thus, at the beginning of the lesson, students watched a short video material, and thus themselves determined the topic and objectives of the lesson.
Then the students formed a cluster on the issues of the practical lesson and presented their work in small groups. They were given conflict situations that had to be discussed and a solution offered, which they successfully dealt with, including with the help of each other.
At the end of the lesson, students consolidated their knowledge by answering questions on the Kahoot platform.
Discussion of the lesson by the teacher who visited it - Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Psychology Gulnar Satkangulova and the feedback received from students showed that the form of organizing educational activities is highly effective. It initiates students' constant cognitive activity in the course of completing problem-based assignments; requires independent search for solutions to educational problems; allows students to reveal their creative abilities.
