Today, the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitrusynov was visited by a delegation, which included representatives of PJSC KAMAZ, the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of Kazan Federal University and the AllurGroup plant.
Deputy General Director of PJSC KAMAZ for HR Management, Organizational Development and Corporate Management Zhanna Khaliullina, Rector of the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (branch) of Kazan Federal University Makhmut Ganiev and Rector of KRU Seitbek Kuanyshbayev discussed the prospects for cooperation and partnership in the issue of training specialists for the mechanical engineering industry of Kazakhstan, in particular for the plants under construction in Kostanay.
Let us recall that in June 2021, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the A. Baitursynov KRU and the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (branch) of the Kazan Federal University, within the framework of which a double-degree education program is in effect. Last year, the first recruitment of students for the Mechanical Engineering specialty was already held, who will study under this program.
After two years of study at their native university, students will go to Naberezhnye Chelny, after which they will receive two diplomas at once: a diploma from KRU named after A. Baitursynov and a diploma from KFU. In the future, they will become the first specialists of new plants, plants under construction in Kostanay. Details of how the educational process will take place, who and how will finance this program, will be discussed in the working order and in the near future the management of the universities will meet again in order to consolidate their intentions.
An equally important issue that was discussed today with representatives of the AllurGroup plant, which includes the manufacturing enterprise TOO SaryarkaAvtoProm, is practice-oriented training, the main goal of which is to develop professional competencies in students. The university management and representatives of the plant agreed that starting October 1 of this year, students of our university will spend one day a week at the plant, and thus practice practical skills. In addition, teachers will have the opportunity to undergo an internship not only at the AllurGroup plant, but also at PJSC KAMAZ.
