The final conference of the DECIDE project (Developing Services for Individuals with Disabilities) within the Erasmus+ program was held at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Uzbekistan).
Since 2019, the project has been implemented jointly with universities from the UK, Romania, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, with active support from the Department of Psychology and Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov (KRU). Representatives from KRU, including Liliya Sarkisyan, Elena Kandalina, and Irina Parkhomenko, attended and presented the university’s achievements at the conference.
The project aims to promote inclusive education, social integration, and non-discriminatory treatment of individuals with special educational needs, in accordance with the Bologna Process and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

During the conference, a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation between participating countries was also signed.
