From February 20 to 24, 2023, a methodological week was held at the Natural Science Disciplines Department of the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute. Students, master's students, and faculty members of the department actively participated in scientific, methodological, and educational events throughout the week. It began with the "We Love Ecology" campaign, which continued with the "Environmental Marathon" event, which was attended by first- and second-year students of the "Biology", "Chemistry", "Geography", "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages", "Music Education", and "Physical Culture and Sports" educational programs. Students prepared thematic posters, presentations, crafts from simple materials and in different techniques reflecting the marathon theme.
As part of the methodological week, on February 21, an exhibition of scientific and methodological materials and publications of the department was organized for first-year students in the university's pedagogical block library. Its goal was to highlight the relevance of literature on the department's disciplines. Saniya Bezaubiekova conducted a library session for students on using electronic resources, where first-year students enthusiastically learned about the work of the department faculty.
Also, as part of the department week, an "Open Doors Day" was held, inviting ninth-graders from the specialized boarding school-gymnasium named after I. Altynsarin. Schoolchildren were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of "chemical experiments", "computer modeling of chemical processes", preparing a microscope slide and observing a plant cross-section through a microscope, becoming familiar with the leveling and theodolite instruments, and getting all the information they needed.
