Starting the Year at an INTERNATIONAL Level

The academic year at the Department of Food Safety and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Baitursynuly University began with a visit from international scholars.

We welcomed two guest professors:

Lecture halls were packed during their seminars — it was a dynamic exchange where every student felt part of a meaningful scientific journey.

Jan Micinski introduced students to Poland’s education system and its advancements in agriculture and livestock technologies, and also conducted a professional development course for faculty members.

Artun Yibar shared innovative quality control methods, showcased modern technologies for raw material and food analysis, and led hands-on workshops that encouraged creative thinking.

In addition to teaching, the professors visited the Argymak Hippodrome and explored traditional Kostanay horse breeding.

We extend our sincere thanks to the professors for immersing us in the scientific process and for the valuable cultural exchange.
