A professor from a Lithuanian university, together with representatives of Baitursynuly University, visited several enterprises in the Zhetikara district.
As part of an academic mobility program, Professor Vlada Vitunske from Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) began her work at KR University this week. Prof. Vitunske is a recognized expert in rural development and previously served as an advisor to the President of Lithuania.
Accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Aidar Baikin, and the Head of the Department of Accounting and Management, Liliya Baizhanova, the visiting scholar met with officials of the Zhetikara district Akimat and toured several key industrial and social facilities, including Kostanay Minerals JSC, a solar power plant, the quarry observation platform, the Polytechnic College, a tennis center currently under construction, and a number of production facilities such as Ecoline Decing.
The visit was aimed at strengthening partnerships, fostering knowledge exchange, and expanding cooperation in education, industry, and innovation.
Professor Vitunske commended the strong development dynamics of the Zhetikara district.
