KRU and Allur: A New Space for New Opportunities

Today, Baitursynuly University celebrated the grand opening of the Allur Advanced Engineering School’s innovative learning space.

This project was implemented in collaboration with Allur, the region’s leading industrial enterprise, with the shared goal of preparing the next generation of engineers ready to advance Kazakhstan’s automotive industry and drive technological innovation.

Currently, around 100 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Energy, and Information Technologies are studying under a dual education system, combining academic learning with practical training at Allur’s production facilities.

This model enables students not only to gain theoretical knowledge but also to apply it directly in a real industrial environment during their studies.

As part of the long-standing and successful partnership between Baitursynuly University and Allur, the company undertook a major renovation of five classrooms and part of one of the academic buildings.

The renewed space features a completely modernized interior and contemporary furniture. Soon, the classrooms will be equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, while new informational stands and visual materials will create the atmosphere of a forward-looking engineering school.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Argulan Maikonov, Executive Director of SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, and Ayap Kurmanov, Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who had the honor of opening the new facility.

Rector of Baitursynuly University, Seitbek Kuanishbayev, expressed his appreciation, noting:

“As a graduate of our university, Argulan supported this initiative, provided his leadership, and today we see a modern, functional space. Our students are already gaining experience at your enterprise, and I am confident that they will continue to grow and contribute to the development of our country and Kazakhstan’s machine-building industry.”

Baitursynuly University continues to create an environment of opportunities where students receive a high-quality education, undertake internships at leading enterprises, and participate in international academic mobility programs.

The university expresses its sincere gratitude to Allur for its contribution to the development of engineering education and for supporting young specialists who are shaping the future of Kazakhstan’s industrial sector.
