The Department of Philology and Applied Linguistics at Baitursynuly University held a regional seminar titled “The Kazakh Language and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Development Prospects.”
The main goal of the event was to demonstrate how artificial intelligence is helping the Kazakh language confidently enter the digital world. Today, technologies are used not only for language learning and academic research but also for creating creative and inspiring content.
Master’s students, PhD candidates, and faculty members of KRU took part in the seminar.
The program was rich and diverse, with speakers addressing the most relevant topics:
Special attention was drawn to practical project demonstrations.
For example, an AI-generated comic inspired by Abai’s words sparked great interest among the audience.
Additionally, participants actively discussed how AI can help preserve and enrich the national linguistic heritage, making the Kazakh language modern, accessible, and engaging for the new generation.
