A delegation from the Turkestan Region met with students of Baitursynuly University.
The university was visited by Yernar Bektaev, Head of the Youth Resource Center of the Public Development Department of the Turkestan Region, along with representatives of district youth resource centers.
The purpose of the visit was to assess how students enrolled in the state educational program “Serpin–2050” are progressing in their studies. The guests were interested in learning conditions, the quality of education provided, and the employment opportunities available to graduates.
Currently, 222 students are studying at Baitursynuly University under the Serpin program, 124 of whom are from the Turkestan Region.
During the meeting, students actively shared their impressions of life and study in the Kostanay region. It was noted that many of them plan to link their future with the region and remain here for employment after graduation.
Addressing the students, Yernar Bektaev emphasized:
“The Serpin program provides unique opportunities for personal and professional growth, access to quality education, and engagement in research activities. It is important to make the most of this opportunity and contribute to the development of the Kostanay region by staying and working here.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, the guests expressed their readiness to provide comprehensive support to the university in the area of career guidance and youth engagement.
A bilateral memorandum of cooperation was also signed, aimed at supporting and implementing joint projects and initiatives in the field of youth policy. The document предусматривает the organization of joint seminars, training sessions, conferences, and forums focused on developing the intellectual, creative, and professional potential of young people.
