We are pleased to announce that an esteemed expert in social linguistics, a professor from Turkey, will be conducting a month-long teaching engagement at our university.
Gülsüm Songül Ercan is an Associate Professor within the Department of Linguistics at the Faculty of Philology of Dokuz Eylul University. During her tenure, she will deliver lectures on the topic "Problems of modern linguistics" to our students and undergraduates.
The faculty members of the department are enriched by international experiences, with Gulsüm Songül Ercan providing advanced training courses. Furthermore, Baitursynuly University has forged robust scientific and academic partnerships with Turkish universities.
Last year, our educators undertook an internship in Turkey, and this year, three foreign scientists graciously visited KRU in return.
