This fall, KRU is hosting a special guest as part of academic mobility — Professor Abdullah Karasu (Uludag University, Turkey), a recognized specialist in crop science.
At KRU’s Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, he is delivering:
Classes are interactive: students ask questions, discuss practices, and improve their English.
The purpose of his visit is not only academic cooperation but also a desire to see Kazakhstan.
The professor fondly recalled his childhood friendships with Kazakh peers. He also emphasized the closeness of Turkic peoples: “Language, traditions, and culture make us one.”
He advised KRU students to be hardworking and persistent, since that is the key to success.
He concluded the meeting with his own formula for happiness:
“İyi bir iş, iyi bir eş” – “A good job and a reliable partner — that is the key to a happy life.”
