Access to Education for Every Student

Ahead of the new academic year, Baitursynuly University held a series of methodological seminars on inclusive education and the use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.

The fundamental principle of inclusion is to remove barriers and create an environment in which every student can fully participate in education and realize their potential.

Across KRU faculties and the Pedagogical Institute, participants discussed procedures for university departments to follow when organizing the educational process for students with special educational needs, as well as opportunities for integrating AI into teaching and learning.

The seminars were based on the Interuniversity Standard, which establishes a unified approach to creating an inclusive educational environment and implementing modern digital tools.

Particular attention was given to practical issues, including the timely identification of students’ needs, available support mechanisms, and effective cooperation between university departments.

A separate session explored how artificial intelligence can make education more accessible and personalized, helping to better address individual learning needs.

The seminars were organized by the Center for Inclusive Education and Psychological Support in cooperation with the Department of Educational Programs and Methodology at KRU.
