In recent years, many online learning platforms have emerged, offering high-quality and free educational courses in various fields, including technology, humanities, medicine, biology, social sciences, mathematics, business, and computer science.
One of the most prominent platforms is Coursera, which collaborates with the leading universities worldwide and provides free online courses to anyone who is interested.
The goal of the platform’s founders is to ensure global access to high-quality education in the near future. Students of Baitursynuly University also have the opportunity to join Coursera, as 500 licenses have been allocated for them.
So far, 18 students have successfully completed courses with high scores. Notably, they study for free and receive certificates from top universities worldwide.
The courses are primarily conducted in English, but many have already been translated into Kazakh and Russian.
Coursera administrator Azamat Zhikeyev has provided guidance on the learning process, worked on student engagement, and developed a methodological guide specifically for users at Baitursynuly University.
Currently, the number of students interested in taking courses on this platform is steadily growing.
