The Department of Economics and Finance of Baitursynuly University held a seminar on the topic "70th anniversary of Virgin Lands in Kazakhstan: results and prospects", dedicated to the celebration of the 85th anniversary of our university.
The moderators were Professor of the department Sansyzbai ZHIENTAEV and senior lecturer Gulzhanat KAYYRBAYEVA.
Mukhamedzhan Zhetpispayev, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, honorary citizen of Karasu and Naurzum districts, holder of the Order of "Kurmet", told the audience about the history and results of the development of virgin lands.
The listeners actively expressed their opinions and asked questions, to which they immediately received comprehensive answers.
