A courtroom setting is in the classroom, participants of the process are the students of Baitursynuly University. This was the creative format of a practical class on the discipline "Judicial Proceedings in Criminal Cases" for future lawyers.
The session was conducted by Bibigul Salamatova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal and Civil Law and Procedure. Students approached the mock trial creatively: they prepared the case scenario and assumed the roles of judge, prosecutor, defense attorney, defendant, and other participants in the process.
The "court session" also had an audience—faculty members and third-year students from Kostanay Higher College of the Kazakh Consumer Union. The invited guests gained a close-to-real understanding of criminal court proceedings.
The college students were interested not only in the topic of the session but also asked questions about admission to KRU, receiving comprehensive answers in return.
