Students of Baitursynuly University have once again won medals at the National Kettlebell Sport Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The youth championship took place in Kostanay from March 28 to 30.
A total of 16 regional teams and around 200 athletes participated in the competition, including students of the university’s Physical Education and Sport program.
Representing the Kostanay Region team, our students delivered outstanding performances in their respective weight categories:
Nikita Strigin (up to 63 kg) - 2nd place;
Vadim Strigin (up to 68 kg) - Champion, 1st place in the Jerk event, completing 95 lifts with two 32 kg kettlebells;
Anton Stelmakh (up to 68 kg) - Champion, 1st place in the Snatch event, completing 148 lifts with a 32 kg kettlebell;
Vladislav Litvinov (over 95 kg) - Champion, 1st place in the Jerk event, achieving 90 lifts with two 32 kg kettlebells.
