TO KNOW and be vigilant

How not to get into the network of a destructive cult or a pseudo-religious organization? How can religious illiteracy turn out?

This was told to the students of Baitursynuly University by a member of the regional information and explanatory group Dauren TOYMATAYEV.

The questions are more than relevant. Considering that young people are a vulnerable category, and social networks have become an effective and widespread recruitment tool.

The consequences of joining a pseudo-religious organization can be devastating - a person finally loses critical thinking, his own opinion, self-awareness, psychologically becomes part of a large collective organism.

Students were once again asked to be vigilant and share useful information with friends.

The even was held by the Republican Public Foundation "Rukhani Zhangyru" together with the KSU "Center for Research of Religious Problems" of Kostanay region within the framework of the project of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Its main purpose is to prevent the spread of the ideology of religious extremism among young people and to explain the principles of the secular structure of the state.
