The Baitursynuly University track and field team won several medals at the XIIІ Summer Universiade!
Competitions in 17 sports among students of universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan are being held at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality (Turkestan).
More than 4,000 students from 76 universities across the country are participating in this large-scale sporting event. Ten students are representing the Akhmet Baitursynov University. The students are competing in judo, athletics, and badminton.
Our students showed a high level of training in athletics!
KRU won four bronze medals in the 4x100m relay (Saveliy Baratayev, Danil Bescastny, Arseniy Kalinin, Adil Tokanov).
And our student Daur Dospulov won the silver medal in the 1500m race!
The winners represent the Pedagogical Institute and the Faculty of Economics and Law.
The delegation is headed by Rakhima Ibraeva, head of cyclic sports and athletics coach.
