Today, a meeting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of historian, scientist, and educator Amanzhol Kuzembayuly was held at the Ostrovsky City Library in Kostanay.
The professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at Baitursynuly University has devoted more than half a century to science and education. The scholar has authored more than 500 scientific articles, including more than 50 monographs, textbooks, and teaching aids.
The event featured recollections of the scientist's life and career, emphasizing the significance of our fellow countryman's contribution to the study of Kazakhstan's history. The participants of the meeting—readers and young historians—expressed their gratitude to the educator and noted that they actively use his works in their studies and work.
It is worth noting that for his achievements in science and teaching, Amanzhol Kuzembayuly was awarded the Order of Kurmet this year by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This award is a testament to his invaluable contribution to the preservation of national history and the development of science and education.
