The festival in Kostanay was organized in support of Vitaliy Pukhkalo and Nail Bashmakov, participants of the 25th Winter Olympic Games held in Milan from February 6 to 22. Notably, both Olympians are graduates of KRU.
The ski festival in Kostanay started on February 1. On the first day, a team of 50 students represented our university. On February 6, KRU once again stood out by presenting the largest team among all educational institutions in the city.
In total, 102 representatives of the university took part in the event: 60 participants competed on skis, while the others actively supported their teammates.
As a result of the competition, the team of Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University became the overall winner among universities for the sixth time.
