The University Grows with Its Staff

Each faculty has its own objectives, professional priorities and opportunities for growth. Yet they share a common goal: to advance Baitursynuly University and improve the quality of education.

This was the focus of Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev’s meeting with teaching staff from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Information Technology.

The conversation went beyond day-to-day matters. Staff discussed the changes and improvements needed in teaching and research, the opportunities that should be created for professional development, and the areas requiring particular attention.

Technological transformation emerged as a key priority. Artificial intelligence and digital tools are playing an increasingly prominent role in education and research. The university’s task is therefore to introduce new technologies, find practical applications for them and use them to improve the effectiveness of its work.

The Rector outlined priorities for further action and emphasised that strategic change begins with the initiative of the people who deliver teaching and research every day.

Teaching staff also shared their vision for the university’s development. Their proposals and questions formed an important part of this open, professional dialogue.
