The fourth Asian Paralympic Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China, concluded on October 28, featuring athletes from 42 countries participating in 23 Paralympic sports.
Dinara Kudzhulova, a student at Baitursynuly University, contributed to the medal tally by winning a bronze medal in judo, competing in the 70 kg weight category. Despite practicing judo for only a year, Dinara also secured a bronze medal at the Asian Championship in Astana.
She expressed gratitude to her coach, Ivan Sorokin, a graduate of their university, her team, and the sports management for their support. Dinara, a first-year student, received a grant from the "Qazaqstan Khalkyna" foundation, pursuing a career as an economist.
