In these days, a delegation from Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynuly, led by Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, is in South Korea.
Recalling that representatives from Dong-Eui University visited Kostanay in early November, during which the President of Dong-Eui University, Dr. SooWhan Han, and BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY Rector Seitzbek Kuanyshbayev signed a memorandum of cooperation in preparing personnel for the machine-building industry of Kazakhstan, the current meeting takes place on the Korean side.
Detailed discussions on the terms of cooperation have already taken place between the university leadership. According to the agreement, five Kostanay students from BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY will annually study as part of academic mobility programs at Dong-Eui University. The first group is scheduled to leave for South Korea in March 2024. Currently, delegation members are working on comparing and synchronizing bachelor's and master's educational programs for the implementation of a double diploma program in Mechanical Engineering.
During the meeting, another memorandum was signed with the Sejong Foundation, which deals with the dissemination of Korean culture and teaching the Korean language. This agreement provides additional opportunities to participate in grant projects and will allow the establishment of a Korean Educational Center at BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY.
