Today, November 17, is celebrated as International Students' Day worldwide.Established in 1941 during an international meeting of students fighting against fascism in London, it officially began to be observed in 1946.
The date commemorates Czech students who fought against the Nazi occupation in 1939.
Kazakhstan has over 800,000 student representatives. In honor of the holiday, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek congratulated all students of Kazakhstan.
