Today, Bat McKendrick, the first secretary of the Department of Business and Trade of the British Embassy, visited Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynuly.
The guest was welcomed by Rector Seytbek Kuanyshbayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Erbol Isakayev, who talked about the university's history and its development prospects.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation with universities in the UK in the field of agriculture, opportunities for joint research, and inviting foreign scholars to Kazakhstan. Bat McKendrick mentioned that the UK is currently focused on expanding ties with Kazakhstani universities, especially regional ones.
