Baitursynuly University has received a certificate for the establishment of the King Sejong Institute. The awarding ceremony took place in Seoul, South Korea, as part of the International Conference of Korean Language Teachers, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea.
The conference gathered 300 participants from 134 countries around the world. Baitursynuly University was represented by KRU Vice-Rector Zhenis Zharlygassov and the Head of the Korean Language and Culture Institute, Nagima Manasbayeva.
The King Sejong Institute at Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University will officially open in September. Here, students and faculty will study the Korean language and become acquainted with the culture of this country.
This will be the fourth branch in Kazakhstan, and KRU is opening it in collaboration with its partner, the South Korean university Dong-Eui.
