At the department of natural-science disciplines of the Pedagogical Institute named after U. Sultangazin the festive event ‘Tauelsizdik Elim - Kazakstan’ took place. Sultangazin held a festive event ‘Tauelsizdik Elim - Kazakhstan’ dedicated to the Independence Day.
Its aim was to deepen understanding of the significance of independence and to instil in the younger generation respect and love for the Motherland. The moderators and organisers of the event were senior lecturers of the department E. B. Akhmetova, A. S. Kozhmukhametova and the students of ‘Geography’ and ‘Biology’.
The event began with the anthem of Kazakhstan. 1st year students Rakhat Zayyp and Aruzhan Yeserkepova read poems dedicated to Independence Day.
Then the guys watched the video ‘Tauelsizdik tugyrim’ and took part in thematic cognitive-intellectual game, during which they actively answered questions.
Teachers of the department congratulated those present and once again reminded that the duty of the younger generation - to preserve the independence of our country as a valuable heritage of the people. The event ended with the song ‘Atameken’ performed by the students.
