Today, students of Baitursynuly University had the honor of meeting Nauryzbai Utpynov, the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan. The event was held under the motto “Жастар – ізгілік жаршысы” (“Youth – the Herald of Kindness”).
Nauryzbai Taganovich is a prominent Kazakhstani religious leader and has served as the 5th Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan since February 7, 2020. He is widely known for his active efforts in promoting spiritual enlightenment and guiding the moral development of young people across the country.
The main purpose of his visit to Baitursynuly University was to inspire students and provide meaningful guidance for their personal and spiritual growth. During the meeting, students eagerly asked questions about life values, spiritual development, and integrity. The guest responded with openness and wisdom, illustrating his answers with real-life examples. Everyone left the hall with valuable insights and renewed motivation.
A highlight of the event was the conferral of the title “Honorary Professor of Baitursynuly University” upon Nauryzbai Taganovich. The decision was approved by the university’s Academic Council.
The official certificate confirming the honorary title was presented by Nurlikhan Temirbekov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs, who emphasized:
“Your contribution to the moral education of youth and spiritual enlightenment is invaluable. On behalf of the entire Baitursynuly University community, we congratulate you on this well-deserved recognition and wish you continued success in your work.”
The meeting took place as part of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Life and Moral Heritage”, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great Kazakh educator Mirzhakyp Dulatov.
