The meeting was held at Satbayev University in Almaty. The main theme of the working session was “Higher Education and Science: The Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.”
The discussion focused on the need to adopt new approaches to the management and development of science.
The systematic implementation of digitalization processes and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into scientific research and higher education were identified as key priorities. These initiatives will be gradually implemented within the framework of the Ministry’s strategic documents in close cooperation with the scientific community.
Participants also addressed issues related to aligning testing systems with international standards and enhancing the global attractiveness of Kazakhstan’s universities.
As a result of the meeting, specific tasks were defined to accelerate the digital transformation of science and higher education, introduce artificial intelligence technologies, modernize academic programs, and improve the quality of professional training.
