Colleagues’ Awards – The Pride of the University

Today, at a meeting of the Academic Council, faculty members and staff of Baitursynuly University were honored with high awards. The awards were presented by the Rector of the university, Seitbek Kuanyshbayev.

Akybek Shayakhmet, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Communication Management, was awarded the badge “For Contribution to the Development of the Native Language” for his significant contribution to language policy and active involvement in the advancement of language development.

The badge “Akhmet Baitursynuly” was awarded for creative activity in enhancing the status of the Kazakh language, as well as for a significant contribution to strengthening and developing cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. The recipients include:

• Dmitry Legky and Aidar Aitmukhambetov, scholars of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities;
• Aibek Shalgimbekov, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan.

Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded to Ulzhan Musabayeva, technician of the “Sunkar” Sports Club, and Kenzhegul Segizbayeva, Assistant Professor of the Department of Theory of Languages and Literature at the Pedagogical Institute of the university.
