The event brought together faculty members and university staff to discuss the significance of the forthcoming constitutional changes and the country's future development.

On July 1, the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan will enter into force, marking a new stage in the nation's socio-political development.

Ahead of this important milestone, participants explored the opportunities and transformations expected to result from the adoption of the country's updated Basic Law.

Presentations were delivered by Symbat Ukin, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law; Indira Taltanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department; and Ainur Maisatayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal and Civil Law and Procedure.

The speakers highlighted the key innovations introduced by the new Constitution and emphasized that it can rightfully be regarded as a truly national document, as citizens of Kazakhstan actively participated in its discussion and development.

According to the experts, the adoption of the new Constitution represents only the beginning of a broader reform agenda. The country is expected to undergo further political transformations, including the election of the Kurultai and the introduction of the office of Vice President.

Participants concluded that the new Constitution not only establishes fundamental principles for the country's future development but also creates new opportunities for building a modern, just, and forward-looking Kazakhstan.
