Once again, February and the ski base of Sports School No. 3 became a gathering place for enthusiasts of a healthy lifestyle and winter sports.
Over the weekend, the city Skiing for Health Festival "2024" took place, organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city of Kostanay, in which schools, colleges, universities, and labor collectives of the city actively participated.
The team of KRU named after A. Baytursynuly was represented by the most active students. All 60 individuals successfully completed the 1 km distance with free technique. Our skiers were unmatched - only students of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism were on the podium of honor.
The honorable 1st place went to Almas Karimov, a 4th-year student, and Daria Kim, a 2nd-year student. Anastasia Rotova (4th year) and Artem Zavyalov (2nd year) took second place in these competitions.
And completing the trio of leaders was Artem Kovalyov with the 3rd place.
Also, the honorable 3rd place went to Eldana Ismagambetova, a student of the Department of Physics, Mathematics, and Digital Technologies.
Among the female labor collectives, Yuliya Zelenskaya, a physical education teacher, became the Champion.
Thus, in the overall team standings, once again, among universities, the team of KRU named after A. Baytursynuly became the three-time Champion. The team's preparation for participation in the Festival was supervised by instructors Rahima Ibraeva and Igor Ogiyenko.
