KRU and the Daryn Centre have joined forces to support talented schoolchildren in the region.
The agreement provides for joint efforts to identify talented pupils at an early stage, support and guide their development, and prepare future participants in academic Olympiads.
Particular attention will be given to preparing pupils for intellectual competitions, including events in 3D modelling, design, robotics and STEM fields.
Planned activities include training sessions, intensive courses, masterclasses, practical workshops, mock Olympiads and sessions analysing Olympiad problems.
Educators, experts and coaches from both organisations will be able to exchange experience, develop joint educational and research projects, and organise conferences, seminars and other events.
The memorandum will provide a foundation for combining the scientific, engineering and educational expertise of the university and the Daryn Centre, expanding career guidance opportunities for schoolchildren and developing their research and technical skills.
