Today, a solemn ceremony for the presentation of state awards took place at the Acorda Residence, marking the celebration of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recognized the citizens who have made significant contributions to the development of the state and society, and to the promotion of national values.
Among the award recipients were representatives of Baitursynuly University.
Sergey Kharchenko, Honored Journalist and Professor of the Department of Journalism and Communication Management, received the Order of “Barys” I Degree from the Head of State.
Asiya Berkenova, People’s Akyn of Kazakhstan and talented Head of the “Öner” Creative House, was awarded the Order of “Barys” III Degree.
